Overview
GolfTEC's fact-based golf instruction system combines the skills of Certified Personal Coaches
with a patented blend of video, motion analysis, impact analysis and
biofeedback technology aimed at helping golfers improve their golf
skills and, ultimately, derive more enjoyment from the game.
The T-E-C in GolfTEC is an acronym for our philosophy which is if you have fundamentally sound TECHNIQUE, properly fit EQUIPMENT and are in good physical and mental CONDITION, you will play your best golf.
During a lesson, GolfTEC students wear a small harness with sensors that are used to measure the golfer's key movements through the golf swing. This information is compared with GolfTEC's proprietary database of top TOUR Professionals. We have tested more than 150 Tour Professionals to help us understand the fundamentals of the golf swing. In addition to motion analysis, the lessons utilize a split-screen video comparison of the student's swing with the swings of top-name TOUR Professionals. Biofeedback technology is used to provide instant feedback as students work to achieve ideal swing parameters. Students can also review their lesson on GolfTEC's web site with a WebLesson featuring video clips, instructor comments, video drills and notes. GolfTEC's fact-based lessons provide golfers with information on their swing that they can't get anywhere else!
We offer practice programs for our students to take advantage of our technology while perfecting their mechanics. We also offer custom club fitting in our Improvement Centers and offer most top club brands for purchase.

Products & Services
Traditional
golf lessons have been given by instructors using only their eyes or
video cameras to see faults in the student's swing. This instruction
has always been based on just the teacher's opinion or theory about the
golf swing.
At GolfTEC, all instruction is fact-based. We use digital video, motion analysis, and impact analysis computers to offer the best, most comprehensive, golf lesson available.
GolfTEC Instructors base their instruction on data from the student's swing that the student can't get anywhere else! GolfTEC lessons allow students to see faster and lasting improvement, gain more distance, accuracy, and consistency and therefore lower their scores. GolfTEC's proprietary SEVA software enables GolfTEC to teach golf using the following integrated tools:
Digital Video - We record a student's swing from various angles. We can play this back immediately, enabling instant observation by both the student and the instructor. We can compare our students with video of a Tour Player, draw lines and shapes, zoom-in on the picture and more.
Motion Analysis – We measure a student’s mechanics with a harness containing a series of motion sensors identifying key swing components such as shoulder and hip turn, tilt, and bend. The student's swing data is then compared with GolfTEC's proprietary swing database collected by measuring TOUR Professionals on all of the major TOURS. We have tested more than 150 Tour Professionals with our sensors to help us identify and understand the fundamentals of the golf swing.
Biofeedback Reinforcement – Biofeedback defined is “the technique of making an unconscious or involuntary bodily processes perceptible to the senses in order to manipulate them by conscious mental control”. We accomplish this with programmable audible tones that are set to help a student feel correct positions. We set these tones on any part of the swing with our motion analysis equipment.
Impact Analysis - This technology allows us to see the face angle of the club at impact and exactly where the club head struck the ball. In addition, we measure the golf club as it moves through impact. Measurements such as club head speed, ball speed, launch angle, swing path, face angle, etc. are taken.
WebLesson - After each lesson, our students can review their lesson through any internet connection at www.golftec.com. The WebLesson is a recap of the students problem areas and what they should be practicing to improve. Click here to see a demo of a WebLesson.
Practice Memberships – Our practice memberships allow our students to utilize our technology and store to practice their swing. This practice time allows our students to reinforce the right movements in their swing. All of our teaching bays are equipped with a student controlled swing replay monitor.
Custom Club Fitting – We utilize our teaching system (SEVA), impact analysis, and our Certified Personal Coaches to fit and sell custom golf equipment.
Outdoor Lessons – We work with a local golf course to use their facility to provide short game lessons, putting lessons, and playing lessons from our GolfTEC Certified Personal Coaches.

company's position as the market leader in golf instruction and provide
an optimum balance between franchise and corporate owned stores.
GolfTEC will support and provide instruction to franchisees on all aspects of running a GolfTEC business. GolfTEC is vested in seeing their franchisees succeed. The GolfTEC team will pass along to you their knowledge and expertise of their proven business plan.
