Ident-A-Kid offers its services within a franchise network in communities throughout the U.S. This structure insures quality and privacy to our customers and provides Franchisees with a successful business model.
As an Ident-A-Kid Franchisee and Program Director, you provide traditional Ident-A-Kid cards and our new electronic version, eKid-ID, to parents through programs in public and private schools and other locations. You promote your business to schools from your home-based office. This results in low overhead and gives you time flexibility to meet family or other commitments.
IDENT-A-KID Services of America, Inc., created the child ID industry in 1986. Over the last 25 years, they have built a network of over 200 franchise locations with a time tested business model. This model includes marketing techniques that get results, the latest technology to process over 100 children per hour and over 500 cards per hour, and a royalty-free cost structure for our Ident-A-Kid Franchisees.

Founded in 1986, Ident-A-Kid is the nation’s largest provider of Immediate Response Child IDs. Through its 200-plus locations, Ident-A-Kid annually provides over three million IDs to parents at schools and other locations throughout the United States. The Ident-A-Kid card is a driver's license-like card that contains a child’s photograph, fingerprint and description. Parents keep the card with them at all times and, in an emergency, can provide law enforcement with it for immediate response. Since their cell phone is likely the first thing parents grab in an emergency, Ident-A-Kid developed the eKid-ID, an electronic version of the Ident-A-Kid ID card. The eKid-ID is stored on the cell phone and can be forwarded to friends, neighbors and law enforcement to help locate a missing child quickly.
