Maui Wowi Hawaiian is as close as you can get to going to Hawaii without hopping on a plane. It is a cool gathering place where you'll find great Hawaiian coffees, all-natural smoothies and lots of island attitude.
It's the kind of place you would have stumbled upon on the North Shore during the sixties. Inspired by the original long board surf crowd, it's laid back and relaxed. Cool without trying to be.
It's a mini vacation from all things mundane - and all things corporate. We have built a franchise organization focused on the Hawaiian tradition of family called 'Ohana. And that's how every single one of us treats every single person who comes into Maui Wowi Hawaiian.
While there are lots of coffee and smoothie shops around the country, there is nothing like Maui Wowi Hawaiian. No one has our exclusive line of Hawaiian blend coffee, Kona espresso drinks or our signature Fresh Fruit Smoothies. And no one has our 'Aloha Spirit'.
Training & Support
Unparalleled
Support
It all begins with the initial training. Training is held every six
weeks at Maui Wowi Hawaiian’s corporate headquarters (The Mainland) in Greenwood Village, CO
and it is quite a big to-do. The founder, Jill Summerhays, comes in to town to
provide our new franchise operators training in blending the fresh fruit
smoothies that started it all. Next our Area Developers, or Directors of
Regional Support (DRS, as we call
them), share a presentation on their role in the franchise system; this being
the best form of local support. The entire Mainland participates in training
from product preparation to business planning. Training concludes with a Luau
Graduation ceremony in pure Maui Wowi Hawaiian style. The latest additions to
our proud ‘Ohana are sent out to start building their businesses their way with
the full support of a dedicated “Wingman” – the core of our exclusive
Unparalleled Support program. This team of experts is committed to providing
critical support to our franchise operators, old and new, every step of the
way. But the support does not stop there. Maui Wowi Hawaiian franchise
operators have a Franchise Advisory Council (FAC) to provide further local
assistance. The role of the FAC is to provide a direct link between the
franchise operator and franchisor. Combined with the Directors of Regional
Support and Wingmen, each franchise operator within the Maui Wowi Hawaiian
system is provided all of the support needed to build their business their way!

From
training to "turning the key" on your new store, you will receive
pre-opening counseling and advisory services on everything from site selection,
lease review and permit requirements, to architectural drawings and many other
aspects of developing your Maui Wowi Hawaiian retail location.

The demand is undeniable. As our Hawaiian Fresh Fruit Smoothies had proven so popular, we then set out to bring Hawaiian coffees to the Mainland. In 2003, Maui Wowi Hawaiian added an exclusive line of Kona espresso and Cappuccino drinks as well as a gourmet line of blended coffees from Maui, Kona, Kauai, and Molokai. We have grown to become a cult brand offering the best of the Hawaiian Islands.
