Upon entering any of our locations, you will be greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff who will provide you with a tour of the salon, introduce you to what we offer and answer your questions. Our tanning consultants will then explain our various membership options and programs, and suggest the ones that best meets your needs.
After evaluating your skin type, we will recommend appropriate exposure times and equipment to help you achieve the tan you desire, along with the best skin care products to enhance your tan and enrich you skin.

Training & Support
Palm Beach Tan offers all franchisees a comprehensive support program that includes training, initial marketing and ongoing operational support. Strong relationships with Ergoline, the world’s largest supplier of indoor tanning systems, and Australian Gold, makers of premium lotions, give Palm Beach Tan the purchasing power to pass significant cost savings onto the franchisee.
The Palm Beach Tan business model and expansive services are a generation ahead of those of other tanning salons. Palm Beach Tan focuses on multi-unit development in small and medium size markets and surrounding suburbs.
Building brand awareness
Throughout 2006, Palm Beach Tan effectively built brand awareness by advertising in new, updated print publications, via radio and billboards, and continually upgrading its website. We also established a uniform layout and color scheme for all our stores. Our distinctive design not only allows us to achieve significant economies of scale in purchasing and operation, it also plays a large role in enhancing the tanning experience for customers. In addition, in January 2007 Palm Beach Tan introduced Premier, the industry’s first fully automated, professionally designed customer loyalty program.
Automated internal systems
Palm Beach Tan is pioneering the use of information technology in the tanning industry to streamline operations and control costs. We use a specialized industry software system to provide automated billing, inventory management, equipment control and management tracking capabilities. With routine processes and procedures automated, managers and staff have more time to interact with the customers and market additional products and services.
Our advanced information systems allow Palm Beach Tan to track membership data, tanning activity, sales information and seasonal fluctuations in a timely fashion. We also use this information to develop marketing programs that optimize revenue and minimize seasonal fluctuations.
Training
Prior to opening, franchisees receive 4 weeks of training at our headquarters in North Dallas, TX. In addition, Palm Beach Tan personnel provide 5 days of on-site training at the opening of the franchisee’s first salon. Thereafter, a modular training system furnishes ongoing employee training, including all the skills and techniques required to operate a Palm Beach Tan salon.
