Training & Support
At Snap-on, if you don't succeed, we don't succeed. That's why we provide outstanding training and support.
It starts right from the home office of Snap-on in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and follows you down the road throughout your career. The products you are selling are the result of years of research and development, meticulously improving on even the slightest detail. They are simply the highest quality products on the market.
Our market research is second to none. We know and understand the audience you are selling to and continue to meet and exceed their needs. What's more, we have our finger on the pulse of the industry, anticipating changes and compensating for them before they affect you.
You will receive exceptional training to get you started and Snap-on will continue to support you through the years, doing everything we can to help you make your Snap-on franchise a success.
Your training will start when you go on your first ride-along. You'll gain real Snap-on hands-on experience from franchisees who know what they're doing.
After that, you'll receive six days of extensive classroom training in Dallas at Snap-on University learning how to “talk your tools.”
And for at least the first three weeks of your business, management will work your franchise with you, riding in your truck to help you make the transition. We'll even help show you how to set up your mobile store.
But your training actually never stops. Snap-on will continue to keep you abreast on our latest products, along with their selling points, to give you even more solutions to offer your customers.
You'll be able to keep customers up to date on new products and service ideas, handle warranty repair and replacement when necessary, and provide affordable programs for technicians to follow to expand and develop their tools and capabilities.

Why Snap-On-Tools?
Our reputation has been built on market leadership, quality products and innovation, plain and simple.
Our research never stops. Product development and innovation remain a top priority for Snap-on. So does loyalty to our customers. In fact, many of our products are a direct result of technician input. Our customers have learned to look to us to provide them with the exact solutions they need—more so than any other tool provider out there.
Retaining this leadership position demands that we continue to innovate and push the envelope of design possibilities:
This way of thinking is ever-present in all of our tools, storage units, diagnostic equipment and “under car” shop implements as well.
In a world where every competitor claims to be the leading innovator, we think there is one absolute way to measure the truth...the patent office.
Snap-on Incorporated and affiliates currently hold more than 1,700 active patents worldwide. In 2006, Snap-on was granted 47 new patents in the United States alone.
At Snap-on, there's no such thing as sitting still.
