Overview
Chef Dane's is a meal facilitation franchise company, headquartered in
Santa Clara, California. The company was founded in August 2005 by a
franchise team with over 40 years of franchise experience. Chef Dane's
provides busy people with a way to quickly prepare tasty, healthy and
economical meals. Customers attend "sessions" to assemble an entire
month's worth of family-sized meals from high quality ingredients using
gourmet recipes. Customers select meals online prior to the session,
and complete the preparation, according to their specifications, when
they get to the facility. Chef Dane's staff guides customers through
the process of assembling the meals (that serve four to six people
each) during the session. After the session, guests take their meals
home to cook and enjoy immediately or freeze to use as needed.
Because customers don't have to shop for ingredients, wash and chop the vegetables and meat, or clean up, each meal takes only 5 to 10 minutes to assemble. A working parent with an over-scheduled family can assemble 6-15 family-sized dishes in less than 2 hours.

We help you manage your meal times by eliminating grocery
shopping, meal planning, preparation and clean-up by providing
gourmet meal preparation services at our facilities.
You can preview our monthly menus online and select your meals from a monthly menu that feature entrées such as Individual Beef Wellingtons and Lobster Ravioli with Pink Sherry Sauce. Then, you can register to attend a session at your nearest Chef Dane’s facility, and pay for your session online.
When it’s time for your session, you bring in your cooler with you to the Chef Dane’s facility. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff greet you and explain our process. Our atmosphere is warm and welcoming and appetizers and beverages are provided. You can plan to meet your friends and have some fun while making gourmet meals for their family. At the facility, you assemble each entrée at a workstation, scooping fresh vegetables and ingredients into a baking pan or container, which youlabel with the provided cooking instructions. You package each meal for the trip home to the freezer, refrigerator, or directly to the oven, broiler or barbeque. You can assemble six meals in less than one hour and they cost about $4-7 per serving.
