Training & Support
Advertising & Marketing
The Build the Brand team drives advertising and promotions that appear on national television. The leadership of the division works closely with a franchisee advisory board on concepts that help portray our high-quality products and status as the recognized world leader in pizza delivery.
Domino's also provides the opportunity for each local market (co-op advertising) to pool funds and optimize local marketing opportunities between national advertising windows. Domino's Pizza has contracted with a national advertising firm to help these local franchise groups effectively market their area.
Site Selection & Construction
Franchisees are responsible for locating a site to build or purchase a store. However, help with this part of the process is available. Each franchisee is assigned a Development Leader in their geographic area. This resource assists with:
Distribution and Equipment & Supply
Domino's Pizza’s distribution system is made up of 17 centers that service the continental U.S. Approximately 1,300 Domino's franchisees choose to receive products from the distribution centers because of their reliability, ease of ordering and convenient and dependable delivery service. With trucks in most delivery areas every day, pinch-hitting a last-minute product delivery to a store is possible.
FDP and Pizza Prep School
FDP and Pizza Prep School are intensive and interactive training programs designed to get soon-to-be franchisees ready to run and operate their store.
The Franchise Development Program is a five-day course designed to equip franchisees with the information necessary to be successful within the Domino's Pizza System. During the five days, franchise candidates learn how to how to deal with employees, store development, and overall business planning.
The four-day Domino's Pizza Prep School captures the Domino's Pizza culture and "smart hustle" attitude while delivering the basics of store operations. Participants will attend classroom and in-store training each day.
Both FDP and Pizza Prep School are held at the World Resource Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. FDP is mandatory for internal and external franchisees. Pizza Prep School is mandatory for external franchisees only.
