At Hawthorn Suites, we understand that extended stay travelers come
from many places. Business travelers attending training classes, on
temporary assignment, corporate relocation or government business and
leisure travelers all have different needs. That's why we offer
flexible building designs to meet the demands of your specific market.
By configuring the property with the best mix of studio and one-bedroom
suites, you can maximize the profit potential of your hotel.
Products & Services
The all-suites, limited-service operating model is one of the most
efficient in the lodging industry, able to generate significantly
higher margins and greater returns. The segment has been highly
successful for more than a decade and with growing demand, shows no
signs of letting up.
Hawthorn Suites concentrates on two markets: extended-stay (from five to seven consecutive nights or more), and shorter transient stays (from one to four nights). With this unique mix, developers can satisfy the needs of business guests attending training classes, on a project assignment or relocating to a new city, and families and leisure guests attracted to the spacious home-like accommodations, good value and amenities. Our hotels and the appeal of complimentary hot breakfast buffet, kitchen facilities, separate sleeping and living areas, and free high-speed and wireless Internet access services score high with both markets.
With Hawthorn Suites, space is maximized and costs are reduced because hotels offer a blend of suites with fully equipped kitchens or wet bars to satisfy the needs of short- and long-term stays. promotions and initiatives to build your business including consumer
and electronic marketing, global and field sales support, and public
relations.
Global and Field Sales
Hawthorn Suites believes working as a team, we have the unique opportunity to capture business on a local and national level.
Our Field Sales Support program is a powerful initiative at the local level, designed to build awareness and drive incremental room nights. Complimentary to all franchisees, the program is aimed at giving the highest level of support by providing hands-on assistance. The program targets corporate decision-makers to generate significant transient and extended-stay business.
Hawthorn Suites field sales directors provide value to individual hotels by uncovering incremental opportunities for growth. This includes reviewing market demand generators, current competitive sets and rate positions and setting appointments. They also spend time one-on-one in the hotel's marketplace to research and conduct a full schedule of qualified sales calls.
Upon completion of the field service director's visit, franchisees receive a "Success Plan" with calls made and suggested follow-up steps. The plan also includes valuable information about the targeted companies with potential annualized room nights. A series of follow up phone calls and on-site mentoring highlighting specific recommendations are coordinated upon completion of the Success Plan.
Hyatt Global Sales
The Hyatt Global Sales team represents Hawthorn Suites and all Hyatt brands in their efforts to promote the brands to travel managers, government and military agencies and departments, travel agencies and extended stay decision-makers.
Consumer and Electronic Marketing
Benefit from our strategic marketing efforts and targeted initiatives that utilize the combined power of print, on-air and online marketing tactics as well as cooperative partner programs and promotions to drive awareness, trial and brand loyalty. This includes the Hawthorn Suites hotel directory, our brand web site www.hawthorn.com, paid search engine marketing campaigns, affiliate marketing, ad network advertising, AAA and Smith Travel Research partnerships.
