Why a Housemaster Franchise?
The good news is that home inspections are an established step in the real estate sales process. As home prices continue to climb, the demand for home inspections is strong but that wasn't always the case.
When HouseMaster first opened in March of 1979, the goal was to educate the real estate community and the public on why they needed a home inspection. Today, the goal is to educate everyone on why they need a HouseMaster home inspection! To do this you will need to promote what makes a HouseMaster inspection both different and better.
Today's home inspectors rarely have a solid program in place to differentiate themselves, which allows for opportunities even in areas where established inspectors are the norm. Here are just a few of the key benefits that help HouseMaster stand out from the crowd.
Limited Inspection Guarantee: Accuracy and accountability are the two things customers and real estate professionals are looking for in a home inspector. The Guarantee proves you offer both!
The HouseMaster Inspection Resource Guide: When you distribute this Guide to your customer at the onset of the inspection, you show your customer and anyone else along on the inspection that a HouseMaster Inspection is head and shoulders above the rest. Unlike other companies, the Guide is NOT an off-the-shelf repair book. The information that makes up this unique handout truly helps customers make the most of their inspection by:
NIBI Certified Inspectors: Increased home inspection licensing is creating new barriers to entry into the home inspection industry. That's good for HouseMaster franchisees! But you will still need to demonstrate that HouseMaster inspectors are a step above their licensed counterparts. One way to do that is to promote the fact that your inspectors are NIBI Certified, in addition to being licensed. NIBI Certification is the only certification program that requires annual re-testing. Who would you want inspecting your home; an inspector that was tested once many years ago, or an inspector that is licensed AND is provided with regular technical updates and support and that is annually tested?

Are You a Good Fit for a Housemaster Franchise?
A HouseMaster Franchise is one of the most affordable franchise opportunities. However, proper funding of initial start-up costs is essential to establish a solid business future. Undercapitalization is the number one cause for small business failure. It is very important to be certain that the necessary capital will be available to get your franchise off on the right track.
