Overview
This individual
has unique and personal interests that create a real passion to work
with our clients on a one-on-one basis! This individual is often a
former customer, health-care professional or a testimonial
spokesperson for the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. This individual
will usually have the desire to work closely with our clients and
staff through-out the life of the business. A salary, commission and
bonus position can be enjoyed by this owner in addition to the profit
beyond the monthly break-even point. He or she may also employ and
work alongside a staff to manage the business. This provides the
flexibility to come and go from the business as desired, working from
an office in the center.
Products & Services

In
America, the personal dietician and personal trainer have become
privileged sanctuaries for the rich. Inches-A-Weigh offers the
equivalent value of personal care in a more affordable way for women
in the low, medium and upper-income markets. We provide nutritional
guidance, behavior modification and exercise classes in
a very efficient, profitable manner to our owners.
Our centers are 1,200 to 2,000 square feet, primarily located in affordable retail strip centers. This creates minimal start-up costs and a very low monthly overhead. You’ll feel the difference from the moment you walk through the spacious and modern private entrance. Our centers enjoy a calm, private ambience. The equipment is quiet, the music is upbeat enough to be energizing, and the center decor is soft, sophisticated and spotlessly clean. This relaxing and friendly atmosphere creates a unique female support system. Women often comment that at Inches-A-Weigh they lose inches and dress sizes, and always gain new friends. Our centers efficiently employ (1) Center Director to supervise,(1) part-time Lifestyle Manager to perform nutritional services & (1) part-time Lifestyle Counselor to instruct exercise classes.
We schedule (10) 1-hour classes per day by appointment. We service 5-15 women per class, and the center hours are typically Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m. to6:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. We combine weight management, specially designed toning equipment and a personally customized program that offers the complete cycle of a permanent lifestyle.

The Yellow Pages has proved to be highly effective with women who are not influenced by media advertising. Additional internal advertising programs include promotional lead boxes placed at strategic locations, special events at local malls, referrals, walk-ins, physician referral programs, direct mail, and promotions including giveaway items.
