Mr. Transmission, Multistate Transmission, and Dr. Nick's Transmission specialize in the repair and installation of transmission systems and drive train components. For all practical purposes, all of the trade names operate under the same guidelines and quality standards. The centers pride themselves on being able to offer a nationwide warranty, which is honored by centers within their trade name and by all centers within all trade names.
Mr. Transmission was founded as Automatic Transmission Service in 1956, later acquiring Grayson Rose Transmission in 1968. In October 1990 Moran Industries, Inc. acquired the Mr. Transmission team consisting of 65 active franchise owners. We relocated the corporate offices to Midlothian, Illinois. In less than one year, Mr. Transmission grew to 85 service centers.
We have continued to acquire additional transmission centers, strengthening its position in the automotive service market. This Network of Centers also includes Mr. Transmission, Multistate Transmission, and Dr Nicks Transmissions. We provide you with locations nationwide for your transmission needs with the most comprehensive warranty in the industry.

You will start with a full 3 weeks of on-site training in a real, operating Mr. Transmission franchise. During your hands-on training, you'll learn first hand about how the business works.
You will interface with employees and customers. You will watch the selling process in action. By the end of those 3 weeks, you'll be completely familiar with the business, inside and out. Next, you will spend 10 days in classroom training, where you will receive easy-to-understand management training and learn to implement and follow our proven philosophy of our business systems. The result? When your center is ready to open you will be ready and able to take charge.
