When they arrive at the boat club, their reserved, top-of-the-line boat is clean, filled with gas, and loaded with all the water toys they requested. No more cleaning, hauling, or maintenance. They simply go out and enjoy their day on the water and when they are done, dock the boat and walk away. It doesn't get any easier than that!
Our boat clubs also provide boating safety and personalized on-water boating instruction.
Training & Support
Our "bullet-proof" Boat Club reservation program can manage any number of boat reservations. It will advise you if the member is in good standing with the club and if the reservation request is within the terms of the Membership plan. It will display any outstanding member balances. When a reservation is made, it can send out an automated E-mail confirmation detailing the reservation information and confirmation number. The software generates monthly statements that can be both E-mailed and snail mailed to members. It efficiently manages all membership inquiries and provides a follow-up telephone feature. It provides a host of forms, legal agreements, useful automated letters, brochures, Dock Master reports, a member newsletter and all of our Membership Agreements. It keeps track of boat maintenance and inventory and generates a host of management and statistical reports needed to effectively manage a club. It handles all the mathematical calculations needed in signing up a new member or upgrading a current member into a different membership plan and generates a Membership Card with member pictures. It automatically calculates monthly detailed Royalty Reports. The program is easy to use. It’s ideal for managing multiple club locations or for accessing club information from home or any remote location. A high speed internet connection is required. There are 2 different security levels to protect confidential data:- Level 1: Gives management access to every program in the system.
- Level 2: The staff can view, but not edit, Member records or financial information. They can add new members, make and edit boat reservations, manage new member prospects including follow-up and targeted E-mail programs, access the Welcome Aboard package and frequently used letters, produce Membership Cards, various automated printed labels, enter boat maintenance data and they can write member newsletters.
The software includes a HELP program that gives easy step-by-step instructions and illustrations that show you how to accomplish any task where help is needed.
Are You a Good Fit for Nautical Toys?
Finding a suitable marina, negotiating a reasonable lease and getting the boat fleet financed can take 60 days or more to accomplish. Add to this another 30 to 60 days to learn our boat club system and to get your business set up and operating. The estimated amount of initial start-up capital you will need including our License fee is about $100,000. The initial term is for 10 years. You may renew your License for two additional 5-year terms. Unlike others, we do not charge for License renewals , but you will have to sign our then current License Agreement and pay the current royalty fees being paid by new Licensees. Our Boat Club is ideal in areas that have a short boating season. When you compare the amount of boat payments, off-season storage charges, winterizing costs, etc. that boat owners have to the cost of club membership over the same period of time, the club is a lot less expensive and has none of the hassles.
