Training & Support
After you decide to become a Nextwave Computers franchise owner you will receive some rigorous training at our home office in Port Charlotte Florida. Although you may be an experienced businessperson you will need to learn the Nextwave of doing things. Our franchise works because our system is refined and dependable.
The course is two full weeks of training. Week one is spent in a classroom type environment. You will learn about our client contracts, repair and networking contracts, your obligations as a franchisee and our obligations as your franchisor.
You will learn how we handle customer complaints and file warranty claims to both the manufacturer and to us. You will have hundreds of questions and we will spend hours with you answering them one by one.
We are always willing to assist you. During our business hours you may feel free to contact your representative at the home office to walk you though any situation you need help with. We can assist you with advice, filing procedures, software support, employee problems and many other situations as they arise. We always remember that your success is our success.

Are You a Good Fit for Nextwave Computers?
Some of the factors that you should consider are your site location, rent and security required, equipment that you may need, store fixtures and display items you may need, improvements you may need to make to a retail store if you are just starting a franchise like walls, electric, permitting, initial inventory purchasing and any promotional materials you need to have on hand as well as your advertising and grand opening expenses. You will be most comfortable with between $50,000 to $150,000 on hand or available through a line of credit.
The initial term of the agreement is for ten years. The reason is this; when a franchise agreement is concluded you must either cease and desist all business activity under the franchise name and abide by our non-competition covenant or renew your contract and abide by the then current franchise agreement. In short we want you, the franchise owner to be able to meet the financial obligations imposed by your franchisor. So the longer the term (within reason) the more stable and able you become.
