Training & Support
Podium offers a three tier program and you may choose any or all of
the "tiers" without committing to all. The exception is that it is
necessary to have attended a qualified lease broker course, or be an
active broker for at least two years in order to be accepted for the
Tier Three support program.
Tier One : Lease Broker Training
The Podium Partners lease broker training, designed by Ken Goodman, CLP, provides you the knowledge that you need for success in today’s equipment leasing industry. Other companies offer training programs that cost $20,000 or more and concentrate on technical leasing subjects such as credit and financial statement analysis and tax laws. Podium training costs far less and not only covers these basic subjects but goes on to marketing and prospecting techniques, structuring profitable transactions, advanced sales tactics and strategy, and packaging funder submissions that get more deals approved.. In our three day course, you will receive all of the information and resources needed to build a profitable lease brokering business. You will benefit from the knowledge of leasing executives, sales people and broker support personnel who have been in the business for twenty to thirty five years, instead of learning from a professional trainer who does not have real-world experience.
We will teach you how to structure your business, how to set and achieve your goals, help you create a winning business plan, and show you how to target niche markets. We also train you on different financing options, how to present them to prospects, and how to structure a deal that will both earn you money and satisfy your clients.

The material in this course has been developed from over 35 years of leasing industry experience primarily with small lessors and lease brokerage companies. These are ideas that have proven successful for some of the best of the best. Many people we have trained or mentored have gone on to CEO positions at their own companies.
Forms & Letters
Each student will receive a CD containing sample forms, sales letters and marketing pieces for just about any occasion. No need to “reinvent the wheel,” all of these have been used successfully by leasing companies and lease brokers.
Follow Up
Even if you choose not to avail yourself of the Tier Three Support Program, you are encouraged to contact us if problems develop or if there is a need for strategizing marketing situations. Given reasonable time limitations, we will try to help wherever possible. Of course Tier Three Program Brokers have access to unlimited consulting and support – as well as transaction processing services.

It is important to present your company to the world in a profession manner. In today’s technological environment, that means an eye-catching logo and a professionally written website. That design must then be carried over to a presentation piece such as a “tri-fold” brochure, as well as to stationery and business cards.
You receive a fully functioning website for your lease broker business, a custom logo design to distinguish you from your competition, a tri fold brochure, customized stationary and business cards. Our package saves you money and time because you don’t have to search for a web designer, graphic artist and marketing copywriter. We can even arrange to have the materials printed for you at no additional charge other than the printing cost itself. You benefit from the experience of our lease business specialists who have designed a number of these sites for companies just like yours. They understand how to market leasing services in today’s business environment.
Tier Three : Ongoing Processing and Marketing Support
