Overview
A Snip N’ Clip franchise offers qualified individuals a chance to own a family-oriented value priced haircut shop backed by an organization with 50 years of experience. Each Snip N’ Clip shop has a bright, cheerful atmosphere and is usually located in high traffic shopping centers near homes and schools. Snip N’ Clip shops can be found in both large and small communities.
Products & Services
Snip N' Clip began in 1958, in Kansas as Ronnie's Fashion Full Service Beauty Salons. Noting the trends changing from intricate hair creations to simple, smart cuts for the family. Ron Mitchell, founder of Snip N’ Clip, introduced his first family shops in early 1975. Snip N' Clip caught on swiftly and, to date, has enticed each year over one million men, women and children to sample a 'quick snip'.
Male haircuts account for 55% of the business, women at 27% and children at 18%. The business is presently headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas and employs about 600 persons, including all of its shops. Ron believed in efficient and timely support for the stores and utilized company airplanes to this advantage. The company still has two planes that it uses to meet with existing and prospective franchisees, build and open stores and still be home in time for dinner.

Are You a Good Fit for Snip N' Clip?
The turn-key price is $64,950 for a complete shop. This includes the initial franchise fee of $15,000, assistance in finding a location, transforming the location into an operating shop with equipment, decorations and initial supply inventory. Snip N’ Clip® will provide information to assist you in hiring and training the initial staff needed to get your shop started. Over two-thirds of our franchisees have come to Snip N’ Clip from outside the haircare industry. We are looking for people who are truly interested in building a successful business. Our training is designed to give you the skills you’ll need to start this business. Typically, franchise owners do not get involved in cutting hair but are strictly the business managers for the shops. You will hire licensed stylists to work directly with customers. Although some owners are licensed stylists and do participate as day-to-day managers, most owners have other jobs and own their shops as an investment.
