Overview
As a United Marketing Solutions franchisee, you will enjoy being part of the fast-growing $50 billion direct mail industry. For home-based, business-to-business franchisees, United Marketing Solutions provides affordable advertising support to local small, and medium-sized businesses through our core product: cooperative coupon envelope mailings. The minimum territory is approximately 100,000 mailable homes. Sales experience is not required.

However, we have other products to support local advertisers, such as solo postcards, new mover mailings, booklets and restaurant marketing packages.
Our corporate headquarters is based in Springfield, Virginia. We have been helping small to medium-sized businesses nationwide with their advertising needs since 1981.
United Marketing Solutions was founded in 1981 as United Coupon, a direct mail company. The name was changed in 1999 to United Marketing Solutions to reflect all the additional products and services we offer.

Training & Support
We want you to be fully prepared to operate your business. Training is conducted at our corporate headquarters in Springfield, Virginia. It is a full week (Monday – Friday) of intense study including:
Our full-time support staff is available to assist you with operating your business. We are just a toll-free phone call. We have industry experts in each department to support your sales, operations, accounting and production needs.
In addition to your initial franchise training, we offer an annual “Summer Sales Conference” and a National Conference. The Summer Sales Conference will reinforce and sharpen your sales skills. You will learn proven techniques from our support staff, seasoned franchisees and guest speakers. You will be exposed to the latest tools and methods to support your sales efforts. This conference is open to franchisees and their sales staff.
Our National Conference is usually held in early December in a warm climate. This conference will expand your business skills and help you learn how to grow your business. You will learn business skills from our expert corporate staff, fellow franchisees, and guest speakers. It’s not all work and no play. This conference is reserved exclusively for franchisees. This is where you can meet and network with owners, relax, play golf, learn about the latest support programs, and attend the awards dinner. It is a great way to rest and recharge your batteries as you prepare for the coming year!
