The service originated in l959 when Cecil Laughlin, Jr. experienced the frustration associated with locating, in a timely fashion, an apartment home that would meet his price, size, location and lifestyle needs.

For Owners and Management Companies: Apartment Selector offers a unique way to advertise to prospects by paying only for results. Each prospect, after being thoroughly interviewed as to price, size, location and lifestyle needs, is referred to apartment communities that match to their needs. The manager is the final decision maker as to which prospects they will choose. Our fee is paid by the property after move in of the resident.

For Prospective Renters: Apartment Selector is free. The prospect benefits by not having to spend their time narrowing down choices over the phone or by driving around.

Training & Support

Apartment Selector offers a system of training professional leasing specialists to assist prospective renters.

Each leasing specialist is trained on the various aspects of the business from listing properties to interviewing prospects.
Our training program includes: manuals, audio cassette and video as well as computer operations.
