Overview
Mr. Bevilacqua started his first waterproofing company in 1958. Over the next 48 years, through dedication, vision and commitment to backing his work, he franchised and built one of the largest and most successful waterproofing companies in the United States.
Joseph Bevilacqua pioneered the interior system of basement waterproofing and is the holder of many patents on waterproofing techniques. He has also produced technical publications on the subject and has, through research and development, become recognized as a leading national authority on waterproofing systems and technology in the United States today.
Some of the technical innovations Mr. Bevilacqua has brought to the art of basement waterproofing are:
• The technique of releasing water from cement blocks and sealing cracks in poured concrete walls.
